The surrounding castle and park lands are almost as large as the city itself. A constant influx of students, of young and of culturally active individuals generates an intense mixture in contrast to the historic nostalgia of the setting. Focal points: „Weimar Republik”, Buchenwald concentration camp, Nietzsche, Bach, Martin Luther, Modern Art & Architecture of the Bauhaus. The hostel is non-profit and student run. The baroque building is part of the old town center. It has not been modernized. Dorm 10.- €. Linen 2,50 €. Stop by on the way from FRANKFURT to DRESDEN or PRAGUE to BERLIN. . „Das Hababusch Hostel liegt im Zentrum der historischen Altstadt. Das Gebäude ist 200 Jahre alt und wird von uns selber nach und nach renoviert.
